Welcome to the Granollers CUP, the largest International Youth Handball Tournament in southern Europe that will be held in Granollers (Barcelona).

The Granollers Handball Club (BM Granollers), pioneer and model in this sport in Spain, organizes for the XXII consecutive year this magnificent handball festival that brings together about 5,000 young athletes from all around the world in Granollers. The tournament takes place within the incomparable framework of the Palau d'Esports, venue of the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games. More than 1,000 matches will be played during the 4 days of the competition, envolved in a unique an amazing atmosphere. Since 1944, BM Granollers has become a model, not only for his long and meritorious career but also for being a pioneer in many areas. The Club stands out for the promotion of handball among the young athletes and for the firm commitment to promote the sport values. Thanks to this work of so many years, the city of Granollers becomes handball main venue of the Barcelona'92 Olympic Games and venue of Men's World Handball Championship held in Spain in 2013. Both events had a huge importance for the history of the City and for the Club. The city of Granollers will held the Women's World Handball Championship in 2021.

The Granollers CUP has had the participation of teams of more than 47 different nationalities: Germany, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, South Korea, Croatia, China, Denmark, Egypt, Slovenia, Scotland, Spain, Finland, France, Georgia, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Taiwan, Tunisia, Uruguay, Venezuela, etc.
In addition, many of the great handball players who are currently playing in the best teams and competitions of our sport have participated in this prestigious tournament.

With the same strength and enthusiasm as on the very first day, BM Granollers will celebrate the GRANOLLERS CUP, with the objective of promote sportsmanship, respect, fair play and enhancing the values of handball sport among young people from different backgrounds and cultures.
